What do I think?
Man, is that a loaded question????
I can tell you that Duramax, Gen 3 with the 360 horse upgrade and a 3.42 is running 11s at the local track here.
Considering the problems with the older ones, it would have to be yours, with the upgrade.
Just remember to change that fuel filter every 5k, and use an ACDELCO filter. NOT AFTERMARKET.
It could be alot of fun.

Hi 6 Shooter -

They can be modded to run great. This type of vid has been out for quite a while - i.e. a big ole' diesel truck suprising the competition by running low et's on a strip.

Another case of you can make ANYTHING run quick if you do the right things to make it happen.

One of the funniest vids of this ilk that I have seen is the one of the older dodge front wheel drive caravan running mid 11's and whooping up on an f body firebird.
