I have recently discovered this stuff and looks very interesting, does anyone know if it is sold at any retail stores or do you have to order it straight through them? I would like to get my hands on this stuff and try it out.

TIA

Glenn or Tanzanite3 Can help you here. He is a dealer based from Ottawa. I ordered almost everything from Z Bro's and lemme tell ya NICE STUFF.

Zaino Bros.

I am in the middle of this procedure. I mailed a check for the 1,2 and 6, did not like the outcome, got advice from detailer dude [see wax thread-ha ha]. I am now removing old wax with 1]wash 2] 3M Automix 8215 Adhesive cleaner 3] claybar. In the process I called Sal Zaino at 732.833.8800 and he was EXTREMELY helpful. He told me I probably should NOT have purchsed #1=show car polish and cleaner [he offered to take it back if unopened-too late] and he convinced me to order the Z-7 car wash and the Z-5 [Zaino Bros' Z-5 Polish for swirl marks & fine scratches $16.95] . They are on their way. He sez his car wash will act [almost] like another coat of wax. I also have 100% American cotton towels on their way:

I have used Maguires and been happy, but am also interested in finding out more about Zaino. Let me know what you think of the Z-5?

BTW, if you have an outlet mall with a Fieldcrest store nearby--I picked up factory second towels (large bath size in white) for $4.00 each!! Yes, the have a missed thread or crooked stitch, but my vette don't care!!

Denny, I have been using Zaino since I bought my vette.
It's great stuff, worth every penny. Stick with it.
As you probably figured out by now Z6 is just a detailer for quick cleaning of dust, etc..
Z5 polish is better on darker color cars like our Polo Green, Z2 works best on lighter cars. In either case the more coats you put on the better it looks.
Here is what I suggest.
Z18 claybar, Z1, Z5, Z7
Get some Dawn dishwashing detergent and remove all the old wax. Use the claybar with the Z7 car wash as lubricant. When you're done wash the car with the Z7 and dry it. Apply your Z1, then when that is dry apply Z5 directly over it. When you apply the Z5 don't do it in a circular motion like with normal wax. Use back and forth motions.

For normal cleaning I just use the Z7 wash and Z5.
The first application looks good but by the time you get about your 5th or 6th coat of Z5 on you really start to take notice.
great stuff
