ZO6 screen question...

Anyone here order the Z06 front air screens?...I just got some from a GM dealer and they are coming apart...frames are held together by black silicone and the frames are coming loose in several places...I called the dealership that sent them to me and they said thats the way they get them from GM and its normal...Did anyone get screens that were coming apart and if so what did you do?...Did you just glue them better with more black silicone or send the crapola back?...Thanks

If you are referring to the fog screens on the Zo6 then I got mine used and they were perfect. Nothing coming apart at all so I'm thinking you got a raw deal.

I just sent them back but the dealer told me that GM uses black silicone to hold the frames on (comes in 3 pieces...body/screen/frame)and that they had a lot of complaints...:ugh

Put them on my Mill.Yellow 02 Conv. Got them from Ecklers and they were great and looked great too. Have to get some for the 04 now.Had dealer install them.
