ZR1 Chrome Rims 1984 Corvette (White) & Tires

I have a 1984 C4 Coupe. I have decided I want to put on Chrome ZR1 style wheels no spacers...direct bolt up. I have pretty much decided to go with 17 x 9.5 x 38mm I would probably run 275 x 40 x 17 BFG G-Force Sport Tires.

I have 2 questions:

#1 will this wheel and tire combo stick out on the sides of my car or with the offset will the tires just sick out more on the inside?

#2 I have viewed very mixed reviews on this tire. I personally have had great luck with BFG tires in general and the price of the G-Force Sport tire @ ~$150 per tire seems like a good price.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I do not know much yet either.I bought 05 18" wheels and bought some tires yesterday off Ebay.Wednesday,i will know whether or not they fit right.Good Luck to me....lol.I really like 05 18" wheels and just wheel on car it looks like it should work.Oh mine is 84 also

The 05 18"x 8.5 worked but the rears which are 19" will not
