On 4-30-02 I traded my 60,000 mile 1991 ZR1 in on a 2001 Z06.
The cars are so different, IMHO, that they cannot be compared. Never having put the ZR1 on the quarter mile I don't know what it would do, but it was FAST. The Z06 is a quicker fast, if that makes sense. The Z06 is more agile and perhaps can pull a little more "G" forces. The ZR1 seemed to have a mili-second delay b/4 the secondaries kicked in: the Z06 doesn't, it comes on instantly and the car seems to rev quicker. I wish I had the money to keep both cars but I don't. I was given the privilege of owning and driving perhaps the two finest production cars of my generation. You can't ask for much more than that.
Regards to all.
