ZR1 Chrome Rims 1984 Corvette (White) & Tires
I have a 1984 C4 Coupe. I have decided I want to put on Chrome ZR1 style wheels no spacers...direct bolt up. I have pretty much decided to go with 17 x 9.5 x 38mm I would probably run 275 x 40 x 17 BFG G-Force Sport Tires.

I have 2 questions:

#1 will this wheel and tire combo stick out on the sides of my car or with the offset will the tires just sick out more on the inside?

#2 I have viewed very mixed reviews on this tire. I personally have had great luck with BFG tires in general and the price of the G-Force Sport tire @ ~$150 per tire seems like a good price.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you in advance.

Kevin

The stock wheel in a 85-87 Z51 was a 9.5x16x38mm so a 9.5x17x38mm should fit fine.

check your Gmail account...i sent a few pictures... you'll be able to view pictures on my facebook, if you have one yourself.

Did yiou have any clearance issues with the 315's on the rear? Did you use the flares that can be installed? (it doesn't look like it).

no issues with clearance i dont have the flares yet waiting for a time where i will have the rear end and doors re-tinted to match the hood. i do have bigger brakes on the front and different than stock rotors on the rear brakes. the y should fit up fine w/o problems
