Needing new shoes for my 07 C6 coupe. Any personal experiences? Currentley have GY Eagle F1's. Been a good tire but want to know what some of you might think. Thanx

I'm using the Firehawks now. Got about 18000 out of my GY supertires. I do not run my vette hard, so I can't really speak on high end performance, but for the occasional quick run through the mountains on tight curves and regular everyday driving, I like them much better than the GY's. And the price is way better at about $900 for all 4 delivered to my door for run flats.

Not to toss a wrench in the gears but a majority of owners have gone to Michelin pilot RF.I know that wasn't the question:D

As a general guide I use Tire Rack even though I've never bought from them .

Also I'd like to say welcome .There is a heap a Texans here:D

I agree, I went with Michelin and I love them, great tire. :beer

I like my FireHawks just fine. I don't drive hard either and find that the Firestones have excellent tread wear. Had my Eagle F1's replaced at about 18000 and have over 20,000 on the FireHawks and there is plenty of tread left.
