LT4 cams SPecs?

Anybody know the REAL specs for teh LT4 hot cams and what changes are to be made, to install them in a L98?

Not sure what you mean by REAL but:

valve lift (1.5) .492 .492
duration @ .50 .218 .228
lobe separation 112*

You can look this stuff at any major GM parts dealer. ie Summit

You will need the LT4 101# valve springs and maybe some shims to get the height just right.

BTW you will need a tune to make it run right.

Yes it will work ;That is the std GMPP Hot cam kit;.
But the hot cam uses 1.6 lifters to get the lift.
You could buy a off the shelf cam only with similar lift from someone else ( $250-$300 ) that doesn't need the 1.6 rockers
Also to really make that work in a TPI you would want some good intake mods because hot cam revs higher than what stock TPI will breath.There are better cams out there for TPI engines

That kit includes the 1.6 full rockers. They used to be aluminum RR's made by Crane. It also includes the springs I suggested. That should be everything you need for the install. You will need to cut back the drip tabs in your valve covers for clearance when using the complete kit.
You will also need a tune.

LT4 cams are fine. It wouldn't be my choice if you plan to keep your TPI. The LT4 cam was designed for a short runner intake like the LT1/LT4. Your stock cam is kinda wimpy, it really depends on what your goals are. If you are going to just do just a cam for now I would do a TPiS ZZ9 cam with Scorpion SA 1.6 ratio full RR's and LT4 springs.

I see, now is there an easier way other than me to take the engine out to install the cams? possibly take of the intake manifold and dig from there?

Nope....you need to by a engine book and study it. Or better yet a FSM for your car.

Intake has to come off regardless of how you do it
Only other way is to pull radiator out and remove cam while engine still in car
