Thanks for the pics, 67vet!:thumb

Thanks,
The tail light assembly is fairly light in weight. It has one multipin plug on the back for connection.
Tom said the LED lights face forward in the housing and then reflect out to the rear so you are not actually looking at the LED's.

Yeah, I also read that on the Chevy's C7 website. It also mentioned about air flow being exhausted via the tail lights (assembly). A member here made mention of hearing that too. Did Tom elaborate on that at all?

Sorry that I didn't get a photo of the rear of the tail light. It is a one piece unit on the back bonded to the red lens assembly. There are no holes or vents on the assembly, just the multi pin plug for the lights. Light will be red (stop and run), white (backup) and amber (turn).
I did not hear him talk about exhaust out the lights or to the side area - but I might have missed that while I was taking photos.
But there is no place for any air to pass through the light assembly.

Desktop paper weight that was included in the VIP package for those that attended the World Debut. Limited number of only 2014.
Stingray is same size as will be on the C7. :w

I see now what they are talking about with regards to ventilation through the tail light assembly. If you look at the outside teardrop portion, you can see the vents where the air exits.

As for the clear lenses in the center of each light - the inside ones are the white backup lights. The outside are amber turn signals. :w
