Well if you are going to make your C5 look like a '53 why not go all the way? The silver one does have a certain appeal. With a little modification it could make a cool little pickup. Need to find a wrecked C5 :D

This is where those cars go to die....

(Notice the flamable items located around the car)

I also notice that the wheels and everything else fit the theme. I'd drive that car and enjoy it with out changing a thing. The '50s used to be the hot thing. Now the '60s are in and the '70s stuff is starting to come back. It's just a matter of a few more years until your car is hot again.

All it needs is a chrome chain steering wheel and a set of mud flaps with the chrome .... "bare nekkid ladies with their hair inna' breeze".

Some guys just never complete a project.

Almost forgot the "Kenworth/Peterbilt" custom exhaust; I'm slipping.

:cool

I forgot about these pics that I snapped at the auto show two years ago...

Dunno if it is Corvette-based though (other than the C1-reminicent grille).

If my memory serves me correctly (which it hasn't lately) I recall the drummer of the Famous Mowtown Band, modified a early 70's Vette to look like a Vette Station Wagon so that he could fit his drum set in the back. It also had customized Mink seats and interior.;LOL :puke

The Nomad concept car was built on the GM platform that the Soltice and Saturn Sky are built on.

The more I look at the lines of the C5 Nomad, the more I look at the whole upper section and that if they could be integrated .... the roof, glass, windscreen etc.

There is great potential for a removable bass boat.

"Cast & Glass" ... see, I even come up with a catchy (get it), name.

:beer ....or ... :bash
