Hello! I've owned nine Vettes over my lifetime and am presently dealing on a 2003 50th Anniversary Couple. It's a beautiful car ... White with oyster/light gray interior ... and of course, all the "goodies". Mileage is very low (23500) and price is right.

I'd like to hear comments from anyone who owns a 'like' Vette ... likes / dislikes / whatever. I'm old enough not to want to be 'mechanic-ing' all the time but young enough to still want the thrill that only a Vette can provide (I'm sure of what I speak ... I've owned over 170 vehicles over 36 years! LOL).

I've never owned a C5 and would like to make this "#10". I made the HUGE mistake of selling my second red '89 couple about a year ago (the one shown) for a new car we won't even discuss. :crazy

Any comments / information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time ... and thanks to all the people who work to put such a great website together!

I went from an 87 to 03 vert.As most owners will tell you ,it's a huge jump.More power,easy access,nicer ride,creature comforts,03 is a dependable year.

You'll enjoy the move -

I picked up a 50th Anniversary Red Coupe in May. Granted, I have owned it for only 4 1/2 months, but so far (despite getting rear-ended a month ago) it seems to be doing well for a 4 1/2 year old. :cool

Sounds like just the ticket to me. Did you say that the car is white? Be aware that all the 50th Anniversary cars were red. I don't have the correct terminology here. All the 2003 Corvettes could possibly be called 50th anniversary Corvettes, but the 50th anniversary special edition cars were red.

:welcome

I think you'll enjoy the upgrade to a C5. I know I have. I sold my '94 after finding my '98 waiting for me in Texas.

Here's a link to the 2003 Model page in the CAC Tech Center so that you can read up on the 50th Anniversary Vette.

Good luck and enjoy!

THANKS!

Thank you, All, for your input. I'm going to do it! It drives like a dream, has all the bells and whistles, and is just what I need ... what I call "sporty-cush"! Sporty to feed my youthfullness but cushy to house this old body!

You'll be seeing pics of it soon! I'm EXCITED!

Congratulations. Like vett boy said, 03 was a good year for vettes.
Enjoy! And do post some photos.
