There's not too many colors I don't like on a Vette!! Having seen them both in person, I can't say I favor one over the other - they both look nice. I do love that GM tries to change things up from time to time, but alot of colors seem destined to not have long production runs. I know 2 folks who have Monterey Red Metallic cars (they look great) and can't understand why they discontinued it. But you've got to mix it up a little.

The Crystal Red looks like Magnetic Red to me. Crystal Red, Monterey Red, Magnetic Red, Ruby Red, Victory Red. I like them all but partial to the Mag red for obvious reasons

I think you typo'd the title, or was your car aerobodied in 2003?

Ruby red never looked very red to me, it's a pretty purplish color to my eye. It's a nice color, but I have a feeling if it were a regular option, it wouldn't have sold as many as being the 40th anniversary color.

As an aside, it must be cool to visit Callaway. Seeing cars like that C12 just sitting around like it's no biggie... awesome!
