Here's a "new" 2006 Callaway Corvette waiting to be picked up by its owner at the Connecticut factory.
The car spent its first 13,000 miles as a stock Corvette, then was delivered to Callaway for Callaway Corvette package installation. The car's owner lent it to Callaway's Engineering Department for prototype product testing, and now it has just over 17K on the odometer.
Some of the options on this particular car - Hood Accent Paint Delete, 616 HP Performance Package, Severe Duty Clutch/Flywheel Pkg, Callaway/Eibach Suspension, Z51 Brake Upgrade.

Mmmmm tasty! Now who's going to pony up and bring a Jet Stream Blue Corvette for Callaway to work on? :)

Any idea what they're going to be doing to it?

How many C16s total has Callaway made so far? Have they made more than 6 yet?

It will be one of the new SC 600 Callaway Corvettes :lou

One of the Callaway Program Dealerships ordered it and was awaiting its delivery - that pics is old, maybe from Sept. 07 :w
NICE!

Have you seen the new 2009 ZR1 Corvette in Jet Stream Blue? I'm not sure I like the hood on the car, but it sure looks nice in that color with that carbon fiber roof!

Wonder what Callaway could do to one of these 620 horsepower bad boys :Steer

Sweet...

Too bad that they made no drastic changes to the body.... the change is too subtle. Wait til the 650 HP Callaway C16 is out the door :D

I didn't know Corvettes came like that at any point. I thought they revived a 4th gen Z28 trait I REALLY liked.

This pic was taken last Wednesday, this is our Z28 next to my mom's SS. :)

I love that black roof, and I'm glad they're reusing that styling on the ZR1! :D

Don't you know Brandon, ALL the *good stuff* goes on the Corvette platform, first. Always has, probably always will :w
