Maybe someone can answer one of my post, seems like some post that I need help with nobody can help. Heres goes what is the best cam to get for a stock L98 engine ? What is the biggest lift I can go with ? I like the sound of a G5X4 Cam, will it fit in a L98 ? PLEASE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP, I WANT TO BUILD THIS CAR UP. I NEED HELP FROM YOU VETTE GUYS, I AM NEW TO THE CORVETTES.

We'd need a lot more information before being able to make a recommendation that'll fit your needs.

We'd need to know:

Budget
Intended Use of car
Emission testing
Engine specs; heads
Desired Idle quality
Rear end gear ratio
Trans

CompCams had a downloadable program on their site that will give you a recommendation based on the above. I used it and it recommended the exact same cam that I was already running.

The best cam for a stock L98 is absolutely not one having the biggest lift you can go with.

That said, you can way over cam the engine then add a mismatched calibration and end up with an idle so rough, people will think you have a giant cam in the engine.

Sounds like you or your buddies have F or Y bodies with the LSx engine. No you can't use the same cam and in fact the heads and intake you have flow very differently so you want to think about going in a very different direction.

Try TPIS website. They have specialized in the L98 for years.
