Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

How do other Corvette owner feel about....

Those "fake" Z06 vents remind me of all those "non-67 big blocks" running around wearing the most famous hood in the history of Corvettes. ;)

You made the correct decision. :thumb

How About This?

Here's another consideration. Totally custom rear brake ducts.

I would have to say WAAAYY better. As far as the wheels go I like the chrome and if they are made for the C5 the TPS should fit. Check with the seller first though.

Well, the wheels showed up today and had them installed, it was to dark for pictures, but I will post some tomorrow!

Well, not the best picture in the world, but I got impatient and had to take one. Now vent free, and rid of the red wheels. I'm gonna see if I can remove the little aluminum plate in the middle of the center cap. I would like it to be one solid color, like the wheel.

Except for the small block Vettes which ended up with those hoods because of production issues, right? At lease those fellas got those hoods from the factory legitimately. I wonder how many folks realize that was the way some of those hoods were installed at the end of the 67 production run? :L

SAVE THE :w

Now, what do you all think of these wheels on it? In black, competition silver, or chrome?

If you are interested in factory thin-spokes, someone on the other site is selling them with tires, tpms, and center caps for $500.

Try 3M Adhesive Remover or Stoner Tarminator for the residue adhesive.

man that looks so much better.... whoever put those red wheels on should be pistol whipped!

Patrick - I got a swell idea. Let's start a thread called Mellenium Yellow vs All Other C5 Colors. What do think?
