Hello everyone!
Looking into purchasing a C5 Corvette within the next 90 days and figured I'd need somewhere to hang out, somewhere to learn, and somewhere to get ideas. So, I stopped by here.

New here, but not new to forums.

Gotta be a 6-speed. Had one in my 98 Camaro SS and I don't think I could go to an automatic.

Other than that, nothing really specific.

I don't know about beautiful, but it beats the alternative!

Where are you looking for your Vette, forum, stealerships, or on-line/eBay?

A few things: Don't get in a hurry, look at/drive several, some use CARFAX® before they seal the deal and haggle for your best price.

CAC members have been known to do inspections for each other if you find Vettes in other/remote cities.

Enjoy the hunt and post some pictures once ya get it!

Like others have said take your time and when you find it you will know it or least I did about 6 years ago, I searach until I got confused so I took a little break, looked @ many, I too had to have certain things, black, C-5 and a 6-speed is the only thing I wanted as well; not that easy to find when I was looking. At any rate I bought it from a private seller on New Cars, Used Cars - Find Cars at AutoTrader.com went to Cinn. OH, drove it and etc. but when I first saw it I knew it was the one for me, you can just tell. I did come back home and ran a carfax and to make a long story short bought it and never looked back, I couldn't imagine life without it now; it has become part of me:W

The hunt is at least half of the fun but sometimes you have to take a little break and it will come to you
