Production for the 2009 Corvette officially ended on July 25, 2009. It is believe to be the lowest level of production since 1997 coming at a total of 16,956 units.

As soon as we the breakdown of numbers per options, I'll have them up on the site.

2010 Corvette production began yesterday.

Standard Production

That will be interesting information that supports discussions on the superiority of the Vette in it's standard production form - including the low-volume ZR. Thanks. :beer

WOW! - down 50% year to year.

Interesting list. Pretty drastic drop from MY 07 and MY08. When you factor in the number of unsold 09s, and even a surprising number of 08s, things begin to look even worse, and closer to the reality of the economy. One thing I noticed on the list was an extremely high (over 90%) number of 08 and 09 Z06s with dual power seats. Unfortunately my Z06 has a manual passenger seat, and so does every other factory Z06 I've seen. As the number appears identical to the memory package, I'll assume it's a misprint. The other thing I noticed was that they didn't build very many Jetstream Blue cars. Could that be because a lot pf people don't really care for that shade of blue on their Corvette? Just wondering.

There's a couple things about the list that I question as well, and I'm going to be taking a look at them today and see if I can get some clarification.

As for the Jetstream Blue color, not sure, but personally, I LOVE that color!

Production Numbers

Another anomaly is the schedule shows no ebony/red leather interiors for the Z06. Guess that makes my rare?;shrug
