I noticed when cruising at a normal speed in my lt1 if i take my foot off the gas the oil pressure gauge moves up a hair, then when i rest my foot back on the pedal it drops down a hair..shouldnt it be the opposite? oil pressure is perfect and if i give it more throttle my gauge goes up. im taking about just resting my foot on the pedal at aroun 60mph. and also i have had the car 1 and a half months now and have never heard the "bing- bing-bing" chime when i turn the key to the on position then today outta no where i turned the key and the chime came on..hasnt done it since, car does have an aftermarket keyless entry an alarm but not sure what kind. What would cause the chime to comeon? an is it somethin i should be concerned with?

My chimes not going off, is caused by the ignition switch being worn out. Mine will go off occasionally, usually after I play w/key in the ignition.

Can't help you w/oil pressure.

A change in oil pressure, works with a change in RPMS, not the speed of car. So check the oil pressure with the RPMs and then report back......

You can guarantee who ever installed the aftermarket alarm, messed with the wiring, meaning factory chimes, beeps not working wouldn't surprise me. Try grabbing a GM FSM from eBay, that is the best idea I could give you.

yea im not that worried about either prob like i said oil pressure is perfect when i accelerate at idle and at cruising..just moves a hair up if i lightly take my foot off the pedal at crusing (est..1500rpm) then when i rest my foot back on the pedal it will drop down a hair. an im talking about using my foot so lightly that the rpm doesnt really have enough time to change from when i takeit off to wen i put it back on
