I have a 2002 c5 with about 135,000 miles on it , I just got it a few days ago , I noticed a burning oil smell whenever I stop , I checked my oil though and it’s fine , also the oil pressure gauge is fine and reading correctly,I looked under the car when I parked it and I seen a little bit of oil splattered around the oil pan area and some on the cats ,(presumably where it was burning off). I’ve attached pictures so maybe someone could help pin point it , ik that the oil pressure sensors tend to leak on these corvettes, so hopefully it’s just a sensor and not the rear main seal because from what I hear a rear main seal replacement can get pricey , if anyone has any ideas please let me know ,thank you.
