I agree, there should be fixer upper out there that will be less work than what you have planned. Roadsters also have reinforcements on both sides of the cowl behind the dash to minimize cowl shake.

In Michigan we only have a rear plate, and we can choose the Historic plate or the original year plate or a host of regular and personalized. Historic plates have to be renewed, but the original year plate is lifetime.
