That is the case with my 93. I thought perhaps I had a bad switch but turned out to be the motor. The switch is getting hard to find.

I checked my 1993 owner's manual and it calls for GM 12345866 (16oz) synthetic power steering fluid. I called a Chevrolet dealer in the Kansas City area and he had none, and while checking he found only one dealer with that product (apx. $12) in stock, evidently little demand for the product...

Spring car shows are right around the corner and time for a few restoration issues. What is the correct paint color/paint type for the exterior door handle on a 1993? Mine are faded. I assume it's black, but is it flat, or glossy, or something in between? Thanks for your help.

Service manuals (and owners manuals) regularly come up for sale on eBay.

I had good results on one of my vehicles with the lens restore kit from 3M. Comes with several different grits of sandpaper and polish. A lot cheaper than getting new lenses.

Every once in a while I'll see the blue cover service manual for sale on eBay or wherever. Is this the same manual as the red cover version, except for it having tabs? Does the blue have the same content as the red? :w

Thanks for the info. For the heck of it I called the local Chevrolet dealer to get a price on the front spring and the response was "Part is no longer available-discontinued by GM. Try someone like Mid-America Corvette".
