1988 vette coup...BOSE speakers/amps.
I need to know if anyone has a link to or, knows the ratings of all the electrolytic capacitors on the boards of the front door amps.
I replaced the two larger caps on the board to narrow down some issues and, need to purchase all the rest...

Looking for the front door speakers for a 1988 C-4 vette....I don't care about the amp(s) or cases.
Also seek info for a good "drop-in" replacement if known.

......Been a while since I've been back here.......Looking for the AUX COOLING FAN for a 1988 vette as it's bearings are "going south".... Some other years may be interchangeable....This is the fan at the extreme front of the car in front of the a/c condenser...thanks.

***yes, it can be done. simply unscrew the lp switch as there is a schrader valve beneath it. then, simply screw on...
the blend door serves to regulate temperature. there is a vacuum check valve that is located behind the distributor (L98) that if bad, will give you the same symptoms as you are experiencing. 1 line goes to the plenum, 1 line goes to the cruise control, 1 line goes to the ac programmer module...

had some similar problems. the seals were getting "weak" in the mc and eventually, they gave out. usually, a hard pedal=vacuum booster or check valve fault (could also be a vacuum leak in the hose supplying vacuum to it), soft or spongy pedal=air in the lines, leaking...
mine lifts 90% of the way up however, it is seldom opened. i have noticed that the weatherstripping "sticks" to the glass sometimes and i have to give it a nudge.
my understanding is that if you "clean up" the optispark a parts house will "clean out" your wallet in the purchase of a new unit as these are not meant to be wet.
i did this years ago and works well. i placed a switch in a smal box and in one position had it in the "vats on" position for unfamiliar neighborhoods and "vats off" for more familiar surroundings. then, just hid the box....
