Thanks for the info. I'm not going near that one again. I just hope I didn't do anything to it when I hit the reset button by accident. I didn't press anything else and just turned the key to off at that point. It's been driving fine with no problems.

I was trying to get the codes from my car when I messed up the process. I kept the Options button down then when Config Options came up I hit the Options button again and the DIC displayed Quick Configure. Then after a couple seconds it displayed QC Code ###### (a six digit number). I hit Reset...

Will a BCM from a 98 work in a 97?

When I start the car the unit will not come on until about 30 seconds to a couple minutes later (no power\no display.) Then sometimes, when the unit is on and working, the until will just lose it’s power and shut off (no power\no display). I will check again, but I don’t have any codes… well...

Where are the grounding points for these codes? I have the printout of where all 13 grounding points are but because I have limited time to work on my car I'm hoping I can pin point the ones I need to check. I received these codes one before about a month or two ago. They go away for that long...

but it sure sounds like a gnd issue. I'll go through my 98 service manual, but I don't know how close that will be for you. ---------------------- I think it's a grounding issue as well. I'm sure there are not many differences between the 97 and 98. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ryan
