Parts
ONE good thing is most of the high dollar parts that are specific to the LT-1 ARE engine related, most everything else is typical Corvette, ie interior, wheels, trim, bumpers, etc.
Outside of the tach, fuel pump, and matching number specifics, engine and tranny and rear end, everything...
vibration
Problem might be in the clutch, more exact the flywheel may be warped or out of balance?
these problems can be hard to track down, but clutches are fairly inexpensive and the clutches available now are SO much better than the originals.
good luck

M-20
Hi again,
Duh, I KNEW that, had a brain lapse.
Actually the Black book is correct,
you (meaning I) just have to look deeper into it to find the info that you are looking for.
THe M-20 is a wide ratio manual transmission,
it came standard on the base corvette with the 350/300 horse...
Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone for telling their friends about the
LT-1 Registry as I have been getting about 2 new registered cars a week.
We are up to 88 cars now and the more people know this site exist, the more info should come it.
I WOULD like to apologize for the lack of new...
M-20
According to the corvette Black book, NO LT-1s were built with a M-20 transmission...
by the way WHAT is a M-20....for some reason I am thinking that the M-20 was a automatic?
Is this correct?
M-22's were on some LT-1s, mainly the ZR-1 packages, but I have "heard" they could be ordered...
Tale Tell LT-1
BA,
the FIRST and one of the most obvious signs of an LT-1 is the tach,
it should have a 6500 rpm REDLINE!
This is the MOST obvious and quickest check
These CAN be replaced but most people do not think of it, nor take the time as its a pain in the Butt to do...the other would...
