    Hello everyone, The previous owner of my 1995 was a crazy real estate agent who applied his company name to the car with large applique's. What is the best way to remove these from fiberglas? Should I use a heat gun or just warm soapy water? Thank you for your help! Mike

    I ask every year to get your opinions. My 1981, I have a warm, insulated garage. Do I just Stabil the gas, plug up the exhaust and let her sit. Or go out every couple weeks and start it up? Minnesota winters. Mike

    Is it really necessary to run the spark plug wires under either side of the engine? Ia m thining for practicality and coolness at a show to have the plug wires run over the top and loom them. Any thoughts?

    I judt did a hand test on my 1981 EGR valve, I could move the diapraghm, but it was very stiff. THen under idle I took off the cavuum line and there was no change in idle speed.     1981 - symptom: Slight rough idle like it is missing, but when I accelerate it is just fine, mileage and power are fine. Can the accelertor pump be replaced without removing the carb? Or do you think it is a fuel pump? Computer removed, regular HEI Ignition and quadrajet. Mike

    Has anyone used the cooling system additives that say they cool the coolant down a little? Just wondering if it works. My 81 runs between 200 and 240 degrees in the summer. Mike

    Guys and gals, My 81 has an in line fuel filter at the carb. Should I assume the internal fuel filter is not there or is there 2 filters. 1 in line, 1 in the carb? Mike

    Hello all, My 81 has a warmed over original motor. I know it is bored over .030, has large chamber heads and a mild cam upgrade but I don't know what the cam is. The car runs strong, but is a terrible cold starter and needs a good 10 minutes or a reading on the temp gauge until it idles well...

    I concur, We just got our first blizzard yesterday, Depressing and I went in the garage and waxed the vette! So where is the best place to put the jack stands to get under the car when I start repairing the front spoiler? Mike

    You guys are all the best! This is my first storage and I love my Vette. So I am a bit nervous. So off the stands it comes. At least I was able to get under it and see why my front spoiler is crushed! My first project for next year! Mike
