Oh how I would have loved to be part of that gathering :cool!:
But you're right, the C5 was coming and it had much more potential. I drove a '93 ZR-1 next to a C5 and I always felt that, despite the pure raw hair raising power of the LT-5, the C5 was so much better on so many levels. Better...
If the decision came as early as 1992, then why was there a gen III LT-5 in development? I can't find any info at the moment, but I seem to remember reading about it somewhere, that it reached quite far in development resulting in a running prototype.
Since a couple of weeks I hear a single pounding sound when I make a sudden turn with my '04 convertible. This only happens once and also once per side. So: if I make a sudden turn to the left, I hear a pound in the rear. If I then make another sudden turn to the same side, no sound. If I make a...
I'm sorry, what I mean is a record from the Carfax database. If I'm correct, it used to be referred to as "lemon check" ;)
We checked the Dutch equivalent (because the car was in Holland from 1998 up to now) but that database doesn't share much info on the odometer.
A friend of mine wants to buy a C4 and since it's his first Corvette ever he wants info on the car. I went to check out the car for him and it looks like a nice C4. A couple of things are off and one of them is the odometer. The car reads only about 5100 miles, so it had a new dash or something...

I have driven the car for about 800km now, including a trip on the German Autobahn and taking it up to...
Well, a CR1 would be splendid :upthumbs but the butt of that silver Aerobody Vette of Mr. Rozeboom is not gonna fit on my wider Z's ass :D
No, I'm going to wait patiently on an Aerobodied TT or SNAT that's going to cross my path someday :chuckle
As an all time Callaway Aerobody lover, I would like to know how many TT's and SNAT's are out there with Aerobodies? How many are made?
I love the styling of these cars, it's my favorite Corvette besides the ZR-1 (the C4 ZR-1, that is).
I agree on that one! (While I am not shure if #10 came with these covers??).
I do think the red wires are minor 'problems' when we're looking at originality of the car. The red plastic wire covers (looking real cheap) will be replaced with the metal-look ones, like you see in front. Not too...
