Brackets
2) brackets and braces; all bumper brackets and braces, a/c pieces, p/s pieces, alt. pieces, cowl support pieces, latches, receivers, shims, bolts, etc.
Not sure if I'd actually install them but I might be interested in a set of the rear bumper brace rods that go down to the tail and...
Ditto here, when I was driving the car regular I had an aftermarket one installed but now that it's to be just a now-and-again )that's if I ever get the brakes finished) I took out the aftermarket and spent the time to get the original working again

Pics of gap
Here's some pics of how the trim is sitting.
I can pull it in and a little tighter at the hood side by playing with the screw in the fender but cannot so anything on the end that is "clipped" on out by the door
In reality it lines up pretty good with the wiper door in the down...
Hi and thanks for the quick reply.
I've got mine lined up pretty good to the fender and to the wiper door. The gap I'm looking at is where the molding meets the stainless trim that goes up the side of the windshield. There is a curved area on the fender molding that looks as if it should be...
So I understand that they do not repro the proper next extension for a 72' w/o air. The GM replacement of the newer style is not even close to fitting.
Does anyone have a proper extension that actually fits?
I'd like a picture of one so I have some idea what to keep my eyes open for, a part...
Still trying to put things back together.
After a setback in the brake department I decided to try some trim
The windshield trim is all on and I went the install the small moldings where the fender meets the windshield (72 vette btw)
When it's clipped in and the screw is placed on the inside of...
Yup Booster full of fluid, new master and booster ordered.
Then to add to the pain I pulled off all the calipers (going to change over to the o-rings now since everything is apart.
One caliper isn't stainless sleeved... Looks like bronze or something.
Can't win, can't loose, can't quit the...
Hard to Find
Going to be hard to find, the car was at the body shop for 2+ years and then sat here for another 4+ years everything is dry (calipers, master, frame, lines, etc. Figure it's easier to bleed the system and then start hunting when/if it starts leaking again.
Since I need to bleed...
After sitting forever (not my fault honest) my rear tank on the master cylinder was bone dry empty. I figure it leaked out the back somewhere, brakes on this have never been great, have ordered the o-ring conversion set. Probably install this winter.
I bought a Motive pressure bleeder after...
That's not actually a picture of my car (if it was I wouldn't be trying to figure out the size of that bracket)
BUT, mine is the same (Actually I've changed out the radio but left all of the wiring and this gizmo)
It's part of the factory am/fm radio system. one large transistor surrounded by...
So the angle is less than 90 deg?? I've been kind of mocking one up and I started at 90 and ended up having to stick a bunch of washers under where it hits the dash to get it (the dash) up enough for the central gage cluster to fit right. I've got to check that .80 dim again and see where I'm...
There was a guy who sold it I think he lived in Aurora. Of course they sell it at the Barrie flea market (on this weekend) Where abouts in Ontario are you?

No Picture (it is in the AIM, I'll try and find it)
The Bracket goes from the firewall to the underside of the upper dash pad, just to the right of the defrost vent to help support the center of the dash pad
Thanks
Mooser
Weather is finally nice and I'm still trying to get the dash together :(
Wondering if anyone had some dimensions for the center bracket that goes from the firewall to under the center of the dash on a 72 vette.
Mine is long since missing and I have to make one up.
I mocked it up but it seems...
