Hi. Service abs light up at the service panel and the brake warning light in the cluster are on. Topped up the brake luid and stil the same. If i disconnect the wire going to the brake fluid tank lights goes off. Any good ideas around? steve

Hi. Have problems as described in other posts after a shorted battery. I have a new ECM to this car. Bought a long time ago as a spare and is the same partnumber as the one in my car. Is this plug and play or does it need a flash. Steve

Make sense;) Do i need to take down the panel under the dash to get to the relay? Reason for asking is that the car is parket a very narrow place and i cant move it to get better room on the passenger side.

Hi. How do i check that the fuel pump is working. Clutching straws as the car wont start, cranks but no fire and no codes. Thanks. Steve

I keep that in mind. I first have to check if the fuel pump is working. With the noise from the power ariel i cant hear if the pump is activating when i turn o the ignition.

Hooked up my tech II and there is no codes. Strange :( I will check the fuel pump next to see if i get gas to the engine but a faulty pump or relay should give i code i guess.

Thanks. I guess i still need to know the number of the one i have to get the right kit. I guess it to replace bearings and regulator but with 3 different units the same year it is a gamble. I talked with a shop and they cant find it with the VIN alone.

Looking to replace the alternator on my 1993. Anyone know where i can find the part number? Aparetly there is 3 different configurations on the 1993 C4. The build sheet only says "ZA". Mine is a early 1993 buikt in October 1992. Thanks, Steve

I think the battery is roasted by the alternator and will replace both. What puzzles me is that when the charger s connected to the battery and i turn the ignition on the tach goes to 2000 rpm without the engine running. All other instruments looks normal. If i switch the charger to crank mode i...
