    Help! Service Abs Light 1993 Convertable

    Hi. Service abs light up at the service panel and the brake warning light in the cluster are on. Topped up the brake luid and stil the same. If i disconnect the wire going to the brake fluid tank lights goes off. Any good ideas around? steve

    Make sense;) Do i need to take down the panel under the dash to get to the relay? Reason for asking is that the car is parket a very narrow place and i cant move it to get better room on the passenger side.

    I keep that in mind. I first have to check if the fuel pump is working. With the noise from the power ariel i cant hear if the pump is activating when i turn o the ignition.

    Hooked up my tech II and there is no codes. Strange :( I will check the fuel pump next to see if i get gas to the engine but a faulty pump or relay should give i code i guess.

    Thanks. I guess i still need to know the number of the one i have to get the right kit. I guess it to replace bearings and regulator but with 3 different units the same year it is a gamble. I talked with a shop and they cant find it with the VIN alone.

    Code 51 Needed an adapter to read sir codes with Tech 1. Code 51 comes up and from what i understand that is an indication of a impact? Frame rails are clean and i dont have any rust on the car at all. Any good advices out there? Cleared the code but it came back when i started up. Steve
