i mixed 1 gallon of 93 octane with 4 gallon of Cam 2 it seem to be okay now i just bought some more i used 2 gallon of 93 octane to 3 gallons of Cam 2 i think that is about the best or the safest ratio :thumb
What Octane do i have to run with a 427 motor .030
Compression is 12:1 will pump gas work like 93 octane????

Yeah that would be nice to have another set! but that would be a lot of money for 4 rims & Trim and tires Maybe Santa Clause could help me! lol....

Never even rode in a car that im aware of anyway lol.... so im not sure how
the ride is? are they noisy? and the rubber real hard tire that give it a rougher ride?

i think they did use the Firestone tire but if my memory serves me didnt they had a problem with tires coming apart and causing accidents??:thumb
I am trying to return my vette back the original specs!! did they come with
Firestone tires or Goodyear tires???? i know they where the bias type tire
mine was the white wall kind i just want to make sure i order the right one

Thanxs for the reply im averaging .015 to .001 on my mains as well as my rods
and i also didnt mention that i bought forged pistons had the motor balance and going with a roller cam

Can i get ya'lls opinion:ugh on my main clearances
on my 427 i bought after market connecting rods as well which will go
to 7500,RPM my rod clearance is .001 as well
On a 427 chevy big block the rear main seal does the > the big end or the opening face the front of the motor and the pointed face the rear???does any body have any pictures????thanxs joe
