You have that right c4c5. I even checked the cig fuse was good and lighter is not working. I'll check the lighter socket. Well I think the reason for the no comm is I traded another owner his wheels with new rubber for mine. I had 4 working sensors, all of his are either missing, or don't work...
I have a blown fuse at the cigarette lighter recently. I imagine these two were simultaneous with the no comm. code I'm getting We will see tonight. I'll try to post back soon.
I would look at Ecklers and decide if you want to go with new crossdrilled rotors if your existing rotors have spider cracks. They have them for around $125 ea. as the lowest price. They also have pads. Ceramics are low dust. The metallic pads will be noisy if you are looking at some of the...
Yes, the Z is alot of fun, but you can easily eclipes the power with what you already have, for basically short money. The problem is your snowball will grow and grow in your quest for power. I should know, seeing I'm addicted, or have been afflicted lol! I hate to see Vette owners waste their...
Yes, you can administer half of 1/3 of a can at the throttlebody side of the PVC valve, and the other half at the power brake booster vacuum line, just remove and pour in. This gives you good cleaning coverage up front and to the rear of the intake. I like that white on red, very sharp.

Scroll down to the XR275HR 222/224 Approx. .568" of lift and 112 degree LSA. Not too big, but larger than the stock C5 ZO6. This cam will provide a little lope, without being radical. With this cam you will need a set of 26-918...
As a suggestion, there are also 2 ground plugs behind each headlight. If you unplug the grounds, you may see some green corrosion on the connectors. Use a wire brush and clean off any corrosion. These two tend to wreak havoc with your BCM, causing multiple codes to be thrown. If you can, get...
Just to let anyone know when it is a balancer bolt, here is the pain and suffering. It will squeek if that is the case when the balancer bolt backs out and the balancer comes out of aliignment. It isn't tightening it back up. Here is the problem. It is a torque to yeild type bolt that has been...
If you want to know how efficient, or how good your intake system is there is a way to measure this. I was able to get .1psi. of boost off a custom Vararam mini setup. If you have a programmer and can read your MAP psi in real time, then you can use the tool on the open road to see how good your...
That is also the oldest test in the book to find out if you have a bad alternator or not. Start the car and remove both of the battery cables. If the car keeps running, the alternator is good. If it dies, it's a bad alternator.
I bought cross drilled rotors from Ecklers fairly cheap. http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=41595&dept_id=1087 I never had a problem with them. The only thing I recommend is spraying the hubs with VHT 900 degree black paint. My stock GM rotors had heat cracks, so I replaced them at 40k miles.
As others know, there was an issue way back in Vette magazine about an 11 second stock ZO6. That's high 11's, cool weather, icing down the intake, and numerous attemps. I doubt low 11's and a trap speed of 119mph.......no way. There just isn't enough stock motor to put those kind of numbers down...
