    Tachometer face replacement

No short cuts for this simple job.... You'll have to remove the cluster and do the swap on the bench. You shouldn't have to remover the steering column but you will want to detach it from the dash and let it droop down and out of the way. Might as well replace the pointers and all of the dash...

Help on carb/electrical - idle and misfire problems

If the timing gears and chain are the original, that is where I would look to see why the timing is changing. This would also cause a change in idle speed. :beer

    Electrical issues

Putting in a battery kill switch will not fix the battery drain. Have you determined which circuit is the culprit yet, or even started looking? Do you have a digital Volt meter (DVM) in your toolbox, and know how to use it? Do you have a wiring diagram? Disconnect the battery and install...

Have you verified those coolant temps with an IR gun at the thermostat neck? You do know that the 160* thermostat only controls the lowest opening temp and not the normal operating temp don't you? Once the T'stat has opened the engine's temp will continue to rise until stabilized. Don

    C2 - Stuck in Reverse

You should be able to shift into any gear with the reverse lock-out lifted. Its sole function is to prevent shifting into reverse when you wasnt to shift to a forward gear. It could be the nylon anti rattle bushinhs on the shadft that the lock-up or "T" handle slips over. The spring under...

    Install DeWitts Radiator

Why would you need to go from a SB radiator to a BB radiator? The SB is aluminum and the original BB is brass/copper. Don
