You could always try a small spot with some 3000 and see if it improves the look. If so do the entire hood. I have wet sanded panels before with no problems.

I have a kwiklift and think it is awesome for both oil changes and for detailing (sides and bottom). It lifts it the perfect height and it is basically on big ramps. not great for taking wheels off but good for everything else. You can use the bridge and bottle jack for removing wheels...

The Z18 works awesome. I like to use Z7 and water as my lube also.

Isn't the window sealed similiar to a windshield with some type urethane and thi black rubber trim I am talking about just for looks? It does not seem like it does anything in the way of preventing water from getting in the car the way it moves and get water under it when washing the vehicle...

I have heard nothing but good about that Mr Clean Eraser. Never thought to use it on Leather.
