    O2 question on a LT1

My 93 has two, one on passenger side just ahead of the can, and the other on the left side around the manifold. Which one could effect the fuel mileage. Just lost about 3 mpg, but no check engine light is on. Runs great. :confused I noticed the avg. mileage on the display went from 20+ to...

    targa top question

Try some diletric grease. It won't hurt the rubber and it will stop some of the small water leaks from the top.

    PKE Question

IF you have the key Fob with you, and you are around the car, it's a PITA. So, I just turned it off. Question, when off, should it open the doors when you push the door button. Mine won't. It does open the rear hatch. The PKE feature works fine when turned on, it locks / unlocks both doors.

    CANT OPEN HOOD

Worth a try, have someone hold the relese lever and try pushing them pulling on the side that won't open. It may be just stuck. If you get it open, there is an adjustment on the cable on each latch. Clean the latch and lightly grease each latch.

Yep, used a flat file, took 30 seconds, and no one would ever be able to tell. Maybe some vette heads.

93 or any later C4 owners, look at this

It took me about 1 minute to file off the point. I don't know it it was hitting or not, however, it did give me peace of mind to eliminate a possible problem

93 or any later C4 owners, look at this

I was looking at this web page http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/74...0Pump%20Repair and I read the one about the cracked hood. I looked at mine, it's not cracked but it did look like the tip of the fan shroud was hitting the hood. There was a small white spot on the hood. Just thought you...

    What Are These?

You should have three buttons on the dash for these relays. The black one dispenses Jack Danields, One gray is for light beer, and the other is for Red wine.:L ;) :)

    Courtesy Lights

There is a light sensor in the dash, if it's bright out , they won't come on. All of this is controled by the CCM. Central Control Module. It's very complicated. There was a Q & A on that problem in the May issue of Corvette Fever . It took 1 & 1/2 pages to explain. I'm not sure if I can...

    Sports seat question / problem

No, but thanks both are now working with the diaphrams I cut.

    Sports seat question / problem

That would work. But if not, you need a good sharp scissors to cut a smooth circle. It must fit the pump housing perfectly. Now both pumps work. I'll probably never use them after today.

Water Leak on driver side front

The drain for the drivers side cowl is a black rubber hose that you can see running behind the battery. Just pour water in that side and see if if drains. If not, the hose has what they call a duck bill end. It's closed with a slit in the end of the hose . Mine was clogged with dirt. You...

    Sports seat question / problem

I guess from other comments, the seats changed in later years. I have a 93. The pump on the passenger side could be romoved without pulling the pump. The drivers side sits in a small depression in the seat frame and could not be removed. That one is sitting on my work bench and I'll...
