So you're saying that I could have used my 63 arms and converted them keeping my emerg. brake rather than using 65 arms and losing the brake. Damn It:mad Wish I had asked back then.
Thanks Frank. I managed to get it on. There isn't much movement but we'll see. I went with a 1-1/4" up front and a 7/8" in back. I also have very heavy springs front and rear. It's very hilly and curvy gere and when i take the car out I drive it like I'm running from the police (sometimes I...
I'm installing a VBP rear sway bar on my 63 and I need some guidance. Obviously rear sway bars weren't thought of in 63 because there aren't any holes in the frame to mount the bushings and brackets. The trailing arms are fine since I'm using 65 arms. Can someone tell me where the holes are...
I wish I was as impressed as you are. With a 355:1, 1st is worthless, 2,3,4 are ok and 5th is ok for the express way. In hind sight I wish I had gone with a Richmond from what I've heard or just saved my money. IMHO
Man a C6 would make you cry then.
If you want to drive a sweet ride try one of the Cadillac's CTS-V cars. They have the ride of a Caddy with a Corvette motor and 6 speed. I almost bought one last week but think I'm going to get on the waiting list for an 08. They are coming out with the LS6...
That was a fun day. Car ran like crap up the 'Dragon'. Come to find out a spark plug wire came loose. Boy that 8th cylinder sure does make a difference.
Darryl 'Killboy' takes some nice photos doesn't he. I was a little dissapointed in this latest batch though. I ordered a few enlargements...
Boy I wish the 63 was easy. What a nightnare. Had to raise the entire body and then none of the doors and other body panels fit correctly. To top all of that I hate the 1st gear ratio and now my brand new throwout bearing is howling.
Good luck on the swap.

Thank you both.
While I'm asking questions; does anyone know where to buy an aftermarket 5" clock. Corvette Instrument Service shows a silver faced clock with a corvette logo on the face. I'm converting over to Autolite silver faced gauges and would like to find a matching clock.
Thanks...
Does anyone know the ohm range for a midyear fuel gauge? I'm changing all of my 'restored' gauges out to Autometer gauges. They make several different fuel gauges depending on the sender's rating.
Thanks guys.

What did the cross member set you back? My Tremec has to come out as well and I really don't want to pull the motor. Mine has the opposite problem; it likes to jump out of gear. It is also very loud and very hard to shift. Keisler said they would go thru it if I took it out. Let me know how...
