    Alterative to radar detectors

Speed limits were designed for vehicles and conditions in the 50s and 60s. Then they were modified for the contrived oil crisis in the 70s. Now they are just revenue collection devices for local, state and federal governments. As long as speed limits generate revenue for governments and...

The quest continues, help me out.

I had the same problem awhile back. It seemed that all the C3s that needed work were way to expensive and the ones that were almost pristine were WAY WAY to expensive. My vette addiction finally got the best of me and I picked out a beautiful red 94 coupe. I am sure that eventualy you will...

    Keyless entry

FYI ...I bought my 1993 Torch Red Coupe from a dealer and it came with one key. I asked the salesperson what about the other key and the fob. He said he would work on it. It took 2 days for the extra key but 3 weeks for the fob. The dealer provided it, did not cost me a dime. If it did I...

    Banned Corvette Commercial

Glad to see from the previous posts that there are still intelligent people in the world. I know that seems like I am patting my self on the back but hey I think I am right and am sure I am not a minority. I just wish that the older I get I would stop letting more and more things aggravate me...

    Headlight door alignment

I would recommend Locktite rather than glue. You might need to remove it some day.

    Banned Corvette Commercial

When we make decisions based on a minority rather than the majority then our "Freedom" becomes just a another word for nothing left to lose. When one or two whining, tree hugging, perp loving, gun removal advocates, against the death penalty morons, take no responsibility for their actions...

800 miles to Chicago- should i worry?

If you are nervous and considering the cost of towing and having someone else maybe have to do repairs then I suggest another vehicle or car rental probaly would be cheaper insurance. Better than having to drive with your anxiety level up waiting for something to break. Just my opinion I could...

    Millennium Yellow vs Quicksilver

Give me RED till I am dead...otherwise I will settle for mellow...er I mean Millennium Yellow. Silver and White are for old guys and rental cars.

The one thing I'd have to do to get a new ZO6

I agree and we do have fun together but not with cars. I am in a business that deals with auto manufacturing and so I get to have my hobby and work combined. I am hoping next summer I can get her to come out and meet other vette owners. Trying to ease her into the CAC cruise fest.

The one I should have kept!

I have never meet anybody who owned a vette who said they were glad they sold it. Everyone and I mean everyone always says they wished they would have kept their vette, whatever the year. But then those who buy used vettes would never have a fun car to drive.

The one thing I'd have to do to get a new ZO6

All you guys make me jealous!! My wife does not care one bit about cars let alone a vette. The upside is I get to drive alone and work in my garage by myself, the down side is I do love her and miss not doing things together.
