I need some new mufflers for my '86 and I want to keep it stock and quiet. Corvette Central lists these. Has anyone tried them and are they true to Corvette Central's discription? Are they really as quiet as stock...
This is the stock size tire on my '86 and they are getting hard to find. The Tire Rack only shows one all season tire. The Yokohama AVID V4S. I need an all season because I do drive my car year round. I don't take it out when I expect snow or ice but I do drive it when it is close or below...
I am re-thinking my replacement exhaust system for my '86. The published prices on the internet for a Corsa cat back system is $761. Does anyone know where I can get a better deal?
Thanks
My rear Y pipe on my '86 has a hole in it. I'm looking at replacing it with a Y pipe that has a balance tube and the reproduction mufflers with one functioning outlet from Corvette Central. They sell them as a package for about $261. They say the mufflers are the same as original in sound...

Etching formula not for use on clear-coated, painted or polished aluminum wheelsHow careful do you have to be with this on the rest of...
Somebody please tell me more about spraying everything with WD40. Is it used to give everything a gloss but doesn't it attract dirt? I have never heard of this before. But then it's a great day when I learn something new.
Thanks for the info. About $300 is what I am finding also. I bought my '86 about three years ago and it had some tire store replacement shocks on it. My option code shows that it orginally had Bilstein shocks so that is what I figured I would put back on it. Do you like these shocks?
