    Did I damage engine

Great advice.... only damage will be a fouled plug. Pull it, clean it, drive it!

Do ya think it's too much Chrome?

Opinions are like azzholes, everyone has one & they all stink. It is your Vette, you picked it out, you love it. If you want to add chrome or anything else, go for it. I like the picture you posted. In my humble opinion, that is enough exterior chrome on the body!

Could you drive your Vette as a daily?

I use it primarily from Mid March til the first salt & sand hits the New England roads; but even then, it is not a daily driver. It then gets a wash/wax, battery tender, care cover, towels in exhaust, moth balls, and a long winters nap. It is great to unveil her after 3 months! Come on...

    extended warranty question(all owners)

Old, but very important topic! The C5 has numerous computers; one alone can be $1,000 plus. It is not like buying an extended warranty on a 2,000 TV; this is an expensive machine. I went w/ the GM extended warranty when I bought new in 2002.

    Trickle Charger

If you want a reccommendation, I suggest using a Battery Tender instead of a trickle charger. A Battery Tender will go into a safe mode when the battery is fully charged and will not fry your battery. --> http://batterytender.com/why_batterytender.php?osCsid=0ad17d90c49acc39e1fd75c880ac56a0...

    Tire Cradles

Have read & been told that 3 or 4 months of winter storage will not cause flat spots. Tires today are not likew they were 25 years ago. Last year my Vette slept from November 'til March, started right up, no flat spots.:v

    Mr. Clean, NEW.

I agree, drying is the worst part!! Spend $50 bucks and buy a leaf blower. Your neighbors will think you are nuts, but it gets all the water out of the nooks & cranies.

    Question on battery tender

Hey Stallion - for the 60 or so dollars, it is worth it! Just hook it up, don't have to disconnect the battery. Make sure it is a Battery Tender, not a trickle charger.

    C5s check in please..

Had my first Vette back in high school; a '62 ragtop in 1969. I had been out of Vettes since 71 but always wanted another. On my 50th birthday my wife surprised me with a RED ZO6 rental for the day. Lets say that was her biggest mistake! ;LOL ;LOL That was July of 2001. I took delivery of...

I bought the Battery Tender Plus last year at Pep Boys for around $59. I am sure you can get a better price but I wanted to be sure I had it.
