Will do, but it may take me a little while to get everything together. Here's everything I'm replacing/repairing/upgrading:
lumbar bladders on the driver's seat
carpet (changing to light oak)
parking brake boot (2-tone)
console lid skin
door pulls
seat skins (2-tone)
seat foam
door panels
glove...
Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on it. The guy is selling both panels and the glove box door. Now all I need is the knee bolster thing aroung the steering wheel. I don't know if I'm going to worry about the door sill pieces, I may leave them black and see how it looks. . Now...
Thinking of changing the door panels and carpet when I replace my seat covers. I think this is Light Oak but I don't have a point of reference. The guy selling it lists it as tan but that's not the real color. Can anyone out there who has Light Oak tell me if this looks like it?
Thanks,
Geez, those are nice looking seats. I'm going for pretty much the opposite effect as yours. I'll have black everywhere you don't and where you have black, I'll have pewter. I'm on the fence about the steering wheel but that sure looks sweet, door handles too. Thanks for posting the pics!

I'm thinking I may use them as well. This link on their website gives very nice step by step instructions. It looks like it's just one of those things where you just have to be patient. I'm still trying to swallow the $2grand price tag though. But then, I've heard nothing but great things...
Every once in a blue moon (3 or 4 times in 4+ years) mine will get stuck at whatever the temp is in my garage and not update for the entire drive. But it's always worked fine the next time I start the car. Hmph, maybe I'll replace mine too and see if it ever happens again. Since it always...
I guess that means I used to be good since my 71 was white. Pewter is just some strange shade of gray so I guess I'm living in the shadows.
I don't think I want to know the story behind this one.:eek
Welcome Jerry, glad to have you! As you've already discovered, there's a wealth of info here. I'd love to see some pics of those F-bodies not to mention the 74 C-10. I'm on my second, the first was an 84 Custom Deluxe heavy half and now I have an 85 Silverado. Love them old Chevy trucks -...
Come to think of it, I don't recall ever seeing a C5 with a cracked dash pad (thought I'm sure it happens). Is it heat-cracked or is it possible it was removed at some point?

I bought my 98 about 5 years ago (or is it 4?) and it was at best a not well cared for car and had 40k on the clock. Since then I've logged 30k more miles and have done very little besides maintenance and upgrades. It has been the best car I've ever owned in all honesty. Oh and by the way...
I've never really noticed Mustang exhaust. All I ever really notice is the little silver horsie disappearing in the rear view:Steer. Sorry, you laid it right out there and I couldn't resist;LOL.
I have to admit though, my 85 Chevy truck sounds better at idle than my Vette. All it has is a...
Not yet, haven't had time to pull the seats out. But I'll let you know as soon as I try it. I'll probably get around to it in a few weeks.
Yep, IV/ringers, tomato/tomahto :L. I'm going to use the BP cuffs though.

Thanks Dwayne but I already priced that and it's over $500 and I'm not ready to go there yet. I've heard of people replacing the bags with medical ringers bags but I'm looking for any other ideas I can get.

My 98 turned 70k last fall and the years are requiring some repairs.
When I bought it four years ago the side bolster bladders didn't inflate but no biggie. Now one of the center lumbars stopped working. The pump runs when I move the switch so power isn't the problem. It would appear that...
Phew, I'm glad my squeaking was caused by the idler pulley. My dog wouldn't like it if I brought home a donkey. Of note, my idler pulley had a thin crack in it when I removed it so it was lucky I replaced it when I did.
