Are C4 prices still falling or rising yet?

It will be interesting to see whether the C4 values rise mostly as a group or whether the early C4s will begin to rise first as the later C4s continue to depreciate. Early C3s began to appreciate and later C3s are only beginning to catch up. There were more later C3s made and more early C4s...

Are C4 prices still falling or rising yet?

I'm pretty sentimental about my 96 C4, its my first corvette and I'll be taking good care of it and keeping it for a long time, so I'll have it when the C7s come out and maybe longer. I'll find out where the long-term price goes but I don't really care, I bought it to drive and enjoy. By the...

    Myth Busters 87

A clean running L98 engine and tranny can be had in the $2,000 range, sometimes less. He will easily make a profit if he sells all the body panels, suspension components, wheels and tires, and the drivetrain. Perhaps he wanted the engine for a project car and planned to part out the rest of...

    Myth Busters 87

I believe the guy that bought the 87 from them after its ordeal was going to part it out. What a disgusting way to kill a corvette. It looked to be in pretty good shape before adding the pig.

96 Collector Edition Wheels W/Center Caps

Thanks toms94, a guy that owns 2 ZR-1s got a great deal on them. The wheels are now sold and are no longer available.

96 Collector Edition Wheels W/Center Caps

I have a set of silver OEM 1996 Collector Edition Wheels with matching Collector Edition center caps. Fronts are 17X8.5 and rears are 17X9.5. The wheels have some curb rash from a previous owner, but any good wheel shop can repair this and you will have a perfect set of wheels. I had these...

    Wheel cleaning on the inside...

I purchased a set of used sawblades for about $250 in good overall condition but they didn't appear to have been cleaned on the inside ever. The insides were completely black with tar, grime and brake dust. I first applied wheel cleaner to the insides and hosed the insides down with a high...

Winter's....... This is the worst yet!

I'm in southern Maine, this week has been too rainy for top down. I'm sure it will likely be 20s and snowing in another week. Its so nice around April when you get to take your vette out of winter storage for the first time, cruising with the top off in 50 degree weather after the long winter...

    I'm soooo confused!!!

I get confused too. This year I purchased my first vette, a 96 LT1 in polo green. I am real happy with the car, I would never sell it. But I am already thinking about what my next vette may be. I have wanted a 96 grand sport since 1996 and I really like the LT4 engine. I really like the...

Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson Targets the 1984 Corvette

This reminds me of the Mythbuster's episode on the Discovery Channel where they put a dead pig in a mid 80s corvette, seal it up and allow it to decompose for a couple of months to see if the car would sell afterwards. If it were anything but a corvette I might be more amused. :v

    STill Love My '92 C4

Lose the MR2s before you lose the vette. :v

    STill Love My '92 C4

Thanks for the compliment, the five spokes are 96 collector edition wheels. I also have a set of the sawblade wheels, for a change I will swap wheel sets every couple of years. The polo green definately looks great detailed. I agree, its a nice deep color with a lot of depth and shine. In...
