My heater core was disconnected when I bought my 90 coupe. There was a peice of pipe that was two different diameters with one hose stuck on one end and the other on the other end. Dash Thanks. I was a little worried about finding this problem.

Fixed Well I found it. There are two wireing connectors in the area under the glove box that are the same and can be switched and they were. I found it by looking at the pinout on each connector. Connected the correct ones and end of problems. I can't believe it did not do any damage.

Replaced switch. Leak fixed!

Oil Leak I replaced the switch today. Leak stopped.

Mine was getting worse every time I drove it. Trying to get everything fixed so I can go to the Mid America get together in a couple weeks.

Just for information. Every since I purchased my 1990 L98 coupe two months ago I have had a small oil leak. Oil was running down the bell housing so I thought it was a bad intake gasket. Finally got time to take a good look at it today. Oil was dripping from the sending unit area. It turns out...

Dash woes Thanks. I have already removed the cover in the passinger footwell and can't wind anything loose or disconnected. Guess I will unplug all the connections and reconnect them to see if any are not making connection. any other suggestions? Would a code reader help in this?

Speedo says 0, Cruise inoperative & Have SYS blinking light. Just had dash apart to replace heater core. Had all this when got it back together. Service manual says circuit 817 problem. Help cant find solution.

More trouble. Tried to start car this evening and the battery is dead. Explains SYS code. Unhooked battery cable and put on charge. Will see what other problems I have tomorrow.

SYS & Speedo Hi Yes I can read the mileage but I am not sure if it is rolling up more miles. Will have to drive this evening to check out.

I just replaced the heater core in my 1990 L98 and had the dash apart. I now have a SYS code where the mpg readings usually are and the speedometer reads "0" all the time. The rest of the readings are fine, tach, oil pressure, temp etc. As far as I can tell everything else is working fine, AC...
