Not another car (not yet, anyway), but I found out from Joanne that the Speedster's number in the TT series was 38. Best of all, they still had the plaque!
One more piece of the puzzle falls into place. Thanks Joanne!
(And thanks for the tip, 89x2!)
I bought the Perfect Park from Lifts Unlimited. http://www.liftsunlimited.com/. I liked the larger corner posts, and all the cables, pulleys, and hydraulics are enclosed. Seemed much safer with kids around.
That's even easier. I've got a great tool I use to compress DVD movies so I can watch them on my phone on the airplane. It lets you both reduce the video size and increase compression.
Same here. I use SF for everything. Never any problems. Did you have an agent change recently? I've noticed as I've moved around that the agents themselves seem to have some flexibility in how they do business.
Yep. Lucky too. I'm in hotel with a lousy internet connection and I would have had a hard time if someone else had bid it up at the last minute.
I'll post a photo with the banner in it's place of honor as soon as I get it.
Although it sounds like we'll need extra security to pat down the Texans on the way in and out to make sure they're not taking any extra cars back in their carry-on baggage.
At some point I would love to help organize another effort to get as may Speedsters as we can together again. I'm not...
I might as well move a bed out into the garage, because if I made my extra tires/wheels into end tables for the house, I'd be sleeping out there anyway. :)
BTW, the seller also has a C7 banner too.
BFG C7 Banner
BFG LM Banner
Sorry, but I think you've already been out-done. I believe one of the ZR-1 guys has an LT-5 in his den with a glass table top. Can't find the photos, however...
Reeves Callaway and Dave McLellan in the Speedster for a drive. How cool is that? :upthumbs
I asked Reeves if he needed any pointers before driving it. He didn't. :D
You should try losing your hair, I don't have that particular over/under problem any more.:L
I just got back from a LONG 2 days of driving. This was, hands down, THE best Corvette event I have been at, period. I had about 28 hours to think about it on the return drive, and I realized that we...
If you're interested in that Speedster logo, I've got a pretty good scan that I made of the rear plate. I sent it to the guy you mentioned who does the vinyl decals (he made me two decals and they came out great).
I can email you the scan if you want it.
Great photos Critt!! This is an...
I assume that's me. I'm on my way, holed up just outside of Little Rock tonight. I should be there by early- to mid-afternoon Wednesday.
See you all there!
I'll take it, if it is still available. I was going to order a navy XL from your earlier note, but forgot about it due to travel schedules until it was too late.
I'm just outside of Little Rock AK now, I'll be at the museum tomorrow afternoon.
Very cool! Do you know what the pricetag would be? I'm looking at new trucks now, but I'm still not sure I can bring myself to pay the big bucks for one of these conversions...
I just discovered that the Speedster had the nerve to drip some oil on the hood of my '63. Of course it managed to drip through about a 1" gap in the drip trays on the lift. :mad Upon closer inspection, I think the oil was seeping from around one the bolts that looks like it bolts the turbo...
