I think that is Homelink. . I remember I had to work on my 007 in order to get it to work, but I did. I'll try to remember what I had to do. My Craftsman opener has always been a PITA to link up.

Funny you say that, we made a 4 hour trip from home earlier this week and saw 4 along the way. One was being driven by a high school student, as he was still in it, parked in a school parking lot waiting for school to start.

That's a common problem, but I don't remember what the cause or the remedy is. My experience and research says don't use Armorall on any leathers or plastic though. Armorall has chemicals in it that dry the plastic out and eventually causes it to crack.

Sounds like you need to take it back to your mechanic who did the work. Too much of a coincidence with all the work you had done.
