My car has the original type of tire on it (Goodyear Polysteel 225 70 15). One of them needs to be replaced because the belts are bad. Can I put BFGoodrich 255 60 15 on it and not get a deduction, if I decide to have it judged? Or should I look for another Goodyear Polysteel tire. Steve

I bought my 1980 last May for $16,500. Put about $700.00 in it so far. It has 12.5k miles on it and it's in good shape inside and out. It really doesn't need anything, but I'm trying to put it back to original condition. Steve

Any one of these years should be ok. Just get one in the best condition you can find. This will make for fewer repairs down the road. Happy hunting. Steve

Rick, It should work. If you are getting rid of your 80 intake I could use it. What is the GM part number? Someone gave me this number 14014432. My car has an Edelbrock manifold. And I'm trying to put it back to original. Steve

Dave, Are you sure about that intake? The 1980 spec sheet I have says: Aluminum intake was standard for all 1980's. Steve

I'm not sure I'm going to change it. I would just like to have an original one. My car is about 95% original and the speedo is one of things I'm missing. The only other thing I need is the L48 intake. Do you know what the part number is for the intake?

Bob, I have an Edelbrock performer manifold (not sure what model) on my 80 car with stock Q-Jet and stock 2 horn air filter and air ducting. Fits without any problems. Let me know how the edelbrock carb works, I would like to change. Steve

I paid 16.5k last May for my 80 mostly stock with 11.5k miles. I would hold out for 18k if I was you. Steve

Thanks for all the help. Not sure what I'm going to do. I just took one of the calipers apart and it is pitted. I'm not sure if there rebuildable. MA Direct has a kit for $480 with stainles steel lines and dot 5 fluid.
