What book or books should I get to check the part numbers and locations of numbers on my 80 vette?

Go to the NCRS site ( www.ncrs.org ) and click on the "On-Line Store" and order:

1980-82 Corvette Technical Manual & Judging Guide
These two publications will tell you everything there is to know about your '80 Corvette in terms of numbers, identification, and how the car and all its parts appeared when it was built. If you aren't already an NCRS member, you can join on-line at the same site, then you can join your local Chapter - where the people, the knowledge, the activities, and the cars are.
