no i don`t think its anything in the radio it self.something else is wrong. did you use the original power or any of the factory plug s? sounds like its powering up or feeding back .you have the makings of a real headache on your hands. was this car for sale on 109 in farmingdale?

ok hope you are in shape gary, get ready to lie on your back w/driverside bottom of seat removed.look up over the gas pedal and to the center a bit.black box with sevarl plastic hoses.pain inthe ass. good luck
gary ,have you tried unhooking the battery for several minutes? went through the same bs with mine.changed out the head twice with no change.another module under driverside dash...name escapes me right now....has several vacuum lines changed that out also. try and do a search abunch of posts...
whats the complaint? no heat or blowing on floor only?the electronic climate control had its share of problems.i would pick up the factory manual before tearing the dash a part. ps welcome to the site......bill
when i bought mine it was "updated" with square tail lights and brake lite in bumper.Also has newer style side louvers.i like it still has all the same problems ...just looks newer. bill
well i`m not a fan of randomly changing parts,but on my 90 i had the same rough idle problem.I changed out the ignition module,cause of a no start condition and cleared up the idle problem.....bill

tony, when hot and you get a no start,do you have spark? if so you might want to unplug each side injectors one side at a time.i believe they fire all right bank then all left bank.poss high Resistance in one or more when hot might give you a no start.don`t waste time checking one or two...
did you check spark and fuel yet?ok battery might be showing less than 100%,but if it spins fast enough thats all that matters.kind of like saying it is a quart low,not to spec so that might be it.not trying to be a wise butt, but ? start with the basics....bill
okay ...under driveability and emissions,6e3-a-18-19 cranks but wont start.i would start with basics first.spark, fuel.if they check out then move on . bill
well a quick way to check spark is to just pull plug wire at the spark plug and hold about 1 inch from ground.should have a nice crisp spark when cranking. as far as fuel hook up a pressure gage to the fuel rack and note pressure .think its about 40 -50lbs.do a search for right numbers...
