    C5 Superchargers

I think they advertised that claim with 8 pounds of boost. I'll have to check tonight when I get home. I do agree though that much over 8 pounds of boost and you can look for the bottom end letting you know that you forgot about it:rotfl. But we all know that aftermarket guys will tell you...

Key Fob Battery Replacement -- Pictures

Hey don't forget that once you replace the battery you have to then go to your car and press both the lock/unlock bottons at the same time and hold for I think it is 10- 15 seconds. I changed mine last month and the silly things wouldn't work. Got the owners manual out and it stated to do the...

    C5 Superchargers

Both Todd Griffith and I have been thinking about doing the samething to our Zs. Both of us think that the ProCharger is the way to go since you don't have to drill a hole into the oil pan and ProCharger right now has the bragging rights about how much power you can get from their stage 2 kits...

    Finally under construction

I would think 24" would be deep enough to prevent the tillage equipment from digging it up. I want to also go with direct bury cable. However, being on the coast we do have a rather shallow water table. So that may preclude me from burying the cable. I'll have to check with the power company...

    Finally under construction

Man i sure like that floor. Beats my garage gray painted floor. The guys are coming to hang the garage door next month. I just hope the little critters (mice, rats, rodents) have not already set up house keeping. Thats ok though. I'll just lock the cats in the garage for a couple of days, let...

    Z06's- mods and supercharging

I'll have to investigate on this. I would think that someone makes mounts for it. I need to see about getting one as a winter project to play with for the C4. It's been a long time since I've monkeyed around with engines. But i figure it is time to get the feet wet again;). H.D.:w

I knew ther was a reason I didn't like Ford trucks!

Glad to hear that Patrick. For a moment, only a moment, i though you had went off on the deep end. As for Junk! Well maybe he's been sniffing duct tape glue again:L. I hear duct tape glue can cause one to have strange visions;). As for me, well I do own a Ferd rustang. I'd sell it but I know...

I knew ther was a reason I didn't like Ford trucks!

What! I didn't know Patrick owned one! Pat, I feel for you buddy if you have one of the 6.0h no's. The only reason I say that is because "Friends don't let Friends drive ferds". I will say that the 7.3s where good engines. H.D.:w

I knew ther was a reason I didn't like Ford trucks!

Hey Junk, you forgot the new '06 options for the 6.0h no diesel. Since ferd has had such a difficult time with their new "6.0h no" Brain Stroke engine the '06's will have tailgate hand warmers so yo'ur hands don't get cold while you and your friends are pushing yo-ur truck after the engine...

    2006 Z51 Junk

Ok here is my .02 worth:W. First I am NOT brand loyal to anyone or anything. I do a lot of research on high dollar items, such as cars, before I spend MY money. If I like what I see and it fits my needs then I look for a dealer I can work with. One of my questions before i buy from a dealer...

    Z06's- mods and supercharging

Hey will one of these fit in a C4? $3500 is really good price and has got me to thinking:eek. Again. H.D.:w

    steering lock

Darn junk. I guess I'll have to live up to my challenge;). H.D.:w

    steering lock

Hey junk is this something I could do or does it require tearing the dash apart? If it doesn't require tearing the dash apart then I just may attempt the fix myself. Are you taking yours to a Chevy dealer or someone else to doing the install? Thanks H.D.:w

    steering lock

So you guys say that this is a simple install? If so I need to get the bypass. Although nothing shows up about my car having this problem I too know that I am on borrowed time and since the car is now out of GMs warranty phase (I do have an extended warrenty but it may not cover this item) I...

    excavation begins!

Where abouts in N.C. are you from? I live near the outer banks about 60 miles South of Norfolk, Va. Love it there. Great weather most of the year. My home is down near Lumberton, NC just South of Fayetteville. If it wasn't for the cheap phone services it would be really tough. I keep busy by...

    excavation begins!

Yea, I talk to her just about every night. I have the voice over internet service. It cost only $26.00/month and you can call anywhere in the U.S. and talk as long as you want. But still it is tough. There are times when I am home I don't want to leave. But like I said, 34 months and it's a done...

    steering lock

Thanks Geno. I know it is not a question of if it happens, but more like when is it going to happen. I had a thought of somehow disabling the system so that the lock stays open. I know you run the risk of having the car stolen but if you think about it, if the thief wants it bad enough I don't...
