I took the spring out the other day and its ends up that the center bolt head is indeed too long. Im off this week so im gonna go see if I can find the correct bolt. If not then its off to visit the old grinder.:D

These are both 7 leaf rear springs. But the new one is missing the solid flat plate at the top. That's the only difference. Thanks for the info.

The new spring has a bolt but its not as long as the old one. The old bolt is about 2 inches longer. Cant get an exact measurement cause when the bolt broke the spring exploded and I dont know where the other half is now?:L Now I know to put some c-clamps on the new one when I take the bolt out.

Hi, I have searched the forum on how to install seatbelts from a camaro 82-92. Now I have a 77 vette so it has the lap and shoulder belt. Is the install only for the rear lap belts. Or would the rear lap/shoulder belts work. Obviously I would prefer the lap shoulder belts. Thanks

Why is it a bad idea to use a longer bolt to install the harmonic. would it damage the threads in the snout?
