    Corvette Newbie

Hope you enjoy her for many years. I still have my '95. Still sweet after all these years, well except for the numerous waterpumps and opticraps. Could never part with her.

    Magna-Flow Axle-back Magnaflow w/Lt1 Tips

92-96 Magnaflow Exhaust Muffler With LT1 Tip | Corvette Central Has anyone installed these? If so, comments? I like the idea of keeping stock tips and a little more roar from this old gal than stock. Price is right too, for what I might be looking for. I have Corsa Extreme on my C6 Vert and...

Yes Hib. I called them a few days ago, explained the problem, and they had a new set of letters in transit the very next day, no questions. I should receive them any day now. Fantastic customer service.

    C6 Dash Lettering Frustration

The lettering is smack dab in the middle of the padded dash console centered on the passenger side of the dash.

    C6 Dash Lettering Frustration

2005-2013 C6 CORVETTE DASH LETTERING LETTERS KIT - DOMED EDGES I'm having difficult time getting letters to stay down, even after mucho cleaning of area with cue-tips and isopropyl alcohol. No way there can be any oils left, unless the vinyl treatment stuff has somehow actually permeated into...

    RPI Designs

Good to hear you've had good results with them. Maybe it's a Covid thing, but man, communication would be nice, even if RPI were just to say, "Sorry, it's on back order" or "Sorry, we lost your order, and have reordered it." Anything!! A heck of a way to run a business. Here, the dang driving...

Buyer's remorse here. I've filed a complaint with RPI via PayPal, but still no response from these guys. How do these guys retain customers. Seems like a going concern on the surface.

    RPI Designs- Big Caution!

What an awful place to deal with. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I'm going on one month since I ordered interior door handle covers for my C6. They took my money right away. Two weeks later, NOTHING. No replies to my email requests for status. I finally called the place and...

    Help! High Idle and stumble

NO, NOT NECESSARILY!!! I thought that code 41 sounded familiar. I just looked in my chassis manual for my '95, and notes I took when I was troubleshooting that code. In my book it says that DTC 41 will set when voltage on circuit 423 exceeds 4.6 volts and engine speed is less than 1500 RPM...

    RPI Designs

Anyone ordered from these folks? I ordered some C6 leather interior door handles in velocity yellow about a week ago. They got my $$, but they have not responded to my requests for status. I've written to Josh. Maybe the wrong guy? Still.....

    Help! High Idle and stumble

Zak, thanks for the answers, but I don't understand where you say, "i can't pull codes nos ses light?" Does this mean you tried to pull codes and there are none, or do you mean you have no SES (check engine?) light so you think this means there are no codes set?

    Help! High Idle and stumble

Suggest you look in your manual to see how to pull codes and then read them. The C4 can run all kinds of codes without setting off a Check Engine Light. 1. What did you do for that BAT light? 2. Did you have that high idle before all that intake and idle circuit work? 3. Do you get the high...

For my recall on '07, they removed fuse box and spliced wires underside of board, and closed her up.

Anybody heard of a "wrist pin noise" ?

As another noted, I too find it hard to believe that a wrist pin bearing surface went south all at once. It usually starts out as a minor tap and gets louder over time if driven reasonably. If I were you I would get a second opinion before a long trip or major engine work.

Anybody heard of a "wrist pin noise" ?

Any chance you can get an audio of what you are hearing? Does the repetitiveness of the noise change with RPM? Does the sound sound like it is way down inside then engine, or maybe in the vicinity of the valve cover? Getting a clacking noise (wrist pin?) after that work sounds fishy to me. Maybe...
