Captured! Corvette Blue Devil (Stingray?) Mule In The Flesh

Maybe GS, and that is a thin "Maybe" but, I for one am not thrilled with adding an "SS" designation to it "Corvette SS", sounds sophomoric... Maybe just plain old, "as has been already suggested Z06 R."

    How do you do it?

About the same as an image of me stopping at McDonald's or some other fast food place to eat. ;) :L :puke

Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson Targets the 1984 Corvette

I would imagine there was a point here somewhere? Maybe his head? How does one obtain a job like this and get paid? I am sure he is overpaid.

Rumor Mill: V6 Corvette is Coming

    Z06 headers any HP gain?

Thanks ScatRat for a very well stated and thought out answer. I am sure there are others who visit the forum and who you have answered the same question for which they may of had in their minds. I would even recommend that your answer be put into the "How To Section," as a lead in for anyone...

So if I am reading this correctly, these tires 345x30x19 are slightly over 13.5 inches wide (13.58264 inches) and the 335x30x18's are slightly over 13 inches wide (13.18894 inches) Cool!

    Z06 headers any HP gain?

Thanks all, I have found some dyno sheets, but more questions: 1. What is the performance differences between the long tube headers and the short tube headers? [I have been reading something about the scavening point, supposedly what I am guessing is this, it has to do with changing the...

Ok? Gas tank door locking problems

I started this post to gain some answers about the fuel door actuator assembly, which I did. This especially true as the dealership wanted me to schedule a 15 minute appointment with a tech for $85.00, then if it was discovered that a part would be needed, I could order the part. When the part...

    Warranties, Returns and Paperwork...

It should not really be all that hard in this day and age. Enter in a number on a database and the information pops back. If it was small company and I am talking very small, then maybe an issue.

    Petit Le Mans Road Atlanta

So, if I am reading this correctly, the Corvettes had to carry an extra 110 pounds of weight as a penalty offset? Just what is this penalty weight referred to here? Thanks Great photos Tammy :upthumbs

    Stabilty control requirement

Has anyone read this? Stability Control The part which gets me is this; What do you suppose the consumer will be tagged for price wise, or look at it this way. It is basically the same as what the Corvette's have now. Just imagine what repair cost will be, knowing what they are currently...

    Next generation Corvette

Probably not. The non-hidden headlights are probably cheaper to produce, quicker to install (less parts, connections, etc.

    Z06 headers any HP gain?

Thanks for what information has currently been posted I went to the L and G site a couple of times and if the Dyno results are there I missed them. It is not a big deal or am I trying to make it one, just figured that those who have added headers to their C-5's would be familiar with some...

    Z06 headers any HP gain?

Let me post a little clarification here, I am talking about headers and staying street legal, and using the stock Z06 exhaust with them. Would there be a worthwhile HP difference? OK there may be 20,000 posts with something about headers in them. I played that game for a while and gave up...

    Fuel Gauge Reading Question

I do not know about the C-4's but for the C-5's (I might have the models backwards) that one should use Techron to prevent the tank sending unit from gumming up. You can probably do a search here on the boards under "Techron," and find more information.
